LERU Doctoral Summer School

The University of Zurich is a member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU), an association of 23 leading research-intensive universities that share the values of high-quality teaching within an environment of internationally competitive research. Each year, LERU organizes a Doctoral Summer School on a specific topic. All member universities of LERU are invited to send one doctoral candidate to participate in the meeting.

Participation at the summer school is not only an academic enrichment for PhD candidates, but also gives them an opportunity to gain valuable international experiences and network with others. Last but not least, it is also a distinction for outstanding PhD candidates to represent UZH in this circle. More...

For Postdocs

U21 Early Career Researcher Workshop

The University of Zurich is member of Universitas 21, a network of 26 world-class universities. Each year a different university organizes an Early Career Researcher Workshop on a broadly defined topic. Each university may send four postdoctoral researchers to attend this workshop, which also provides excellent networking and development opportunities for junior researchers. More...
