Science Trail Astrophysics

Science Trail is an event series for all PhD candidates and postdocs of the University of Zurich. In the context of this event series young researchers invite each other to particularly exciting, beautiful or even spooky parts of their research fields.

Next Science Trail: Dark Matter

(This event will take place in English)

How can we discover dark matter in distant galaxies? Join us on the next Science trail at the Urania Sternwarte.
Astrophysicists Philipp Denzel, Rafael Küng and Prasenjit Saha will teach us to see the invisible. We will learn more about the relation of light and gravity and how dark matter can be detected in the universe. If the sky is clear, we will even get a glimpse at the sky ourselves.

Date and Time: April 18th, 8 pm  (in order so see the stars we have to start late this time)

Meeting point: Urania Sternwarte, Uraniastrasse 9, 8001 Zürich

The reminder to add to your calendar can be downloaded directly here (ICS, 1 KB).
