The PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from the Evolutionary Morphology and Palaeobiology of Vertebrates workgroup of the PIM provided insights into their interesting research. We enjoyed a guided tour through the fossils from the UNESCO World Heritage site Monte San Giorgio, a presentation on how domestication of livestock helps to understand evolution, and traveled to the giant rodents of South America. Additionally, we learned how CT-scanners help to reconstruct the sensory systems of extinct animals.
