The goal of the LERU Summer School 2019 at the University of Edinburgh was to introduce early career researchers to the principles and practice of effective interdisciplinary collaboration on a global stage.
The weeks leading up to the workshop the participants of the Summer School conducted interviews with senior researchers in their field asking them about their insights in and experience of collaboration. Also, throughout the workshop they shared their thoughts and experiences on collaborating with academic and non-academic partners.
They consolidated past experiences of senior researchers and the gained knowledge of the invited speakers to a guidebook.
