Classical Archaeology

PhDs and postdocs in Classical Archaeology take participants in this Science Trail on an excavation along some of the younger and older layers of their discipline: deep in the chambers of Rämistrasse 73, masterpieces of Greek craftsmanship sparkle, fragments from everyday life in antiquity reassemble themselves into a whole here, the principles of Classical art are discernible in plaster copies, scattered stones layer themselves to form architectures, and the splendor of science unfolds in a library of folios.

First event with: Jaqueline Koller, Eva Riediker-Liechti, Alexandra Tanner and Benjamin Thommen.
