Support for Early Career Researchers
The doctoral and postdoctoral phases are key stages in the academic and professional development of early career researchers. At UZH, the Graduate Campus (GRC) offers cross-faculty services to support their development, with a particular focus on postdoctoral researchers.
Through the targeted allocation offunding, awards for outstanding achievements, and the organization of transferable skills courses, the GRC enhances the quality and visibility in this important qualification phase of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. Individual counseling and coaching services offer guidance and support in addressing questions and challenges within the academic environment, as well as in planning and shaping career paths.
In addition, the GRC is engaged in fostering supportive conditions throughout these qualification phases and contributes its experience and insights to their continuous development and improvement.
Network programs
The Network Doctoral Programs and the Network Conflict Mediators are supervised by GRC. Objectives are the development of the doctorate as well as measures for conflict prevention.
